This has been one of (if not) the most efficient and pleasurable dental visits I’ve ever had (I’ve been seen about a dozen dentists in my life). I live in Utqiaġvik, Alaska and went into the dentist for an emergency visit due to a tooth ache. Found out I had an abscess under a tooth that had a crown and needed a root canal. It was a week before I could fly down to the city to be seen and I was able to manage the pain until my appointment this morning. I could see the receptionist on the phone through the window of the door and as soon as I opened the door she put the phone on hold and gave me her undivided attention. She was very pleasant and she did not rush me, but was very efficient and thorough with her explanation of my forms. I finished the paperwork and about a minute after handing them in, the dental tech/assistant called me over. She had me X-rayed and prepped in no time. Then Dr. Anderson swooped in, thoroughly explained the procedure and what he will be doing, and also gave me a heads up of any possible issues etc. my mouth is very sensitive and I’ve had a few traumatic experiences with dental in the past so I was bracing myself for some pain…..I felt a slight pinch and that was the only pain I felt throughout the entire procedure. I was in and out of the office in an hour (15min of me filling paperwork out didn’t count; I took my time to look it over lol). My insurance covered 90% and the copay was well worth it. If you’re looking for a Endodontics, look no further. Worth the wait, price, and time! Added unexpected bonus (I leave reviews all the time): a free Starbucks card with review!!!
